The HID Signo 40K PIV Reader is a wall-mounted keypad reader designed for environments requiring reliable multifactor authentication. Based on the Signo platform, it reads PIV cards with a contactless interface and, when used with the HID Global pivCLASS Authentication Module or pivCLASS Embedded Authentication, includes the Card Authentication Key certificate to strengthen the identity verification process.

As part of the Avigilon access control offering, this HID solution is suitable for government agencies, contractors, and facilities requiring strong authentication, FIPS 201 compliance, and interoperability in high-security environments.
