The Amphenol-Procom EFD200R/l-TNC(m) antenna is a 1/2 end-fed dipole specifically designed to operate in the VHF band from 150 to 215MHz. Thanks to its ground-plane independent design, it is perfect for use with portable radios, ensuring high performance even in mobile installations.
Compared to a 1/4 whip, it offers a gain of approximately 3dB, with VSWR <1.3:1 in the resonance range and a bandwidth ‰¥15MHz. The radiator is made of stainless steel and chrome-plated brass for strength and elasticity, while maintaining a low weight (~0.15kg). It features a male TNC connector compatible with many portable devices.
