The Avigilon Alta family's H6A 2 x 8 MP 3.24-7.33 mm IR dual-head camera integrates two 8 MP sensors, dual optics with 3.24 mm and 7.33 mm lenses, and IR illumination up to 30 m, reducing blind spots in complex spaces with a single device. Designed by Motorola Solutions, it offers 30 days of data storage, H.264 HDSM SmartCodec and HLS streaming, real-time video analytics, and compatibility with Avigilon Alta Aware and Avigilon Unity ACC.

Description

The Avigilon H6A dual-head camera combines two 8 MP sensors in a single device for continuous bidirectional coverage in hallways, stairwells, and corners. The 3.24–7.33 mm varifocal lens allows you to pan and zoom while maintaining evidentiary detail, while built-in IR provides 24/7 visibility up to 30 m. Integrated video and audio analytics enhance real-time awareness; the gunshot channel requires an optional license. One device does the work of two, simplifying cabling and licensing.

The platform supports H.264/H.265 with HDSM SmartCodec and multi-streaming, WDR up to 120 dB, and up to 25/30 fps in High Framerate Mode (otherwise 20 fps). Compatible with ONVIF Profile S/T/M/G, it offers local storage on dual microSD slots (tested up to 1.5 TB), built-in microphone for analytics with physical switch, PoE/PoE+ power supply and advanced security with HTTPS, 802.1X, Secure Boot, signed and encrypted firmware and FIPS 140-2 L3 certified TPM. The IP66/IP67/IP68, IPX9K, IK10 and NEMA 4X certified ruggedness, together with the wide operating thermal range, makes the solution suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
