Description

The side mounting 15-65 mm 1.0 m bracket from Amphenol-Procom is designed for the side mounting of base station antennas on support masts or pole tubes. This version of the SMC 1000 series offers a lateral distance of approximately 1.0 m and is suitable when the antenna needs to be installed to the side of the support.

The model with code 100000045 is supplied with 2 65 mm U-bolts, 8 M8 nuts and 4 washers, and is compatible with poles with diameters between 15 and 65 mm. The bracket structure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, while the fixing accessories are made of stainless steel.

Amphenol-Procom indicates these brackets primarily for omnidirectional antennas with type C or LW clamp, but they can also be used with GP antennas for 38 mm pole tubes or for the support of directional antennas. The side mounting of an omnidirectional antenna can influence the radiation pattern and the SWR value depending on the distance from the mast and the diameter of the support.
