Description
The Amphenol-Procom SB 3/118-137MHz BNC antenna is a portable whip designed to cover the 118-137MHz aeronautical band. Constructed of flexible stainless steel ribbon construction and self-supporting curved sections, it provides a good hold while remaining resistant to shock and flex.
The whip is a full-size 1/4 length and is factory-tuned and tested to maintain a VSWR of less than 2:1 when mounted directly to a transceiver. With an impedance of 50 ohm, a gain of 0dB compared to a standard 1/4 whip and a minimum bandwidth of 15MHz, it is suitable for mobile radio applications up to 50W. Lightweight (about 50g) and with a height of about 570mm, it is ideal for professional use on the move.
