Description
Avigilon's multi-technology embedded USB reader is designed to be integrated into existing systems such as kiosks, turnstiles, elevator panels, or dedicated enclosures, or used as a desktop reader for credential enrollment. Its compact size allows for installation behind surfaces or in standard electrical boxes.
The device can operate in two modes: as a Smart Reader connected via RS-485 for access control, or as an Enrollment Reader connected via USB to a workstation. It supports 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz credentials, mobile credentials, NFC, and "Wave to Unlock" interaction. The IP65 structure makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments and the communication is protected by end-to-end encryption.
