The Avigilon H5A Thermal 640 x 512 36 mm camera is designed for surveillance of large areas and critical sites where visibility can be compromised by darkness, smoke, rain, or fog. The uncooled VOx thermal sensor detects minute temperature differences with sensitivity = 50 mK, providing clear, sharp images for long-range detection of people, vehicles, or heat sources.

With next-generation video analytics, the camera accurately distinguishes subjects from objects, reducing false alarms and improving the effectiveness of perimeter security. Radiometric capabilities include the ability to measure surface temperature and generate alarms when critical thresholds are exceeded or abnormal variations occur over time. Multiple thermal palettes allow you to tailor the display to specific operating conditions.

The rugged die-cast aluminum housing, certified IP66/67, IK10, and NEMA Type 4X, protects the device from dust, water, and impacts, ensuring reliability even in industrial environments or exposed infrastructure. The camera supports FIPS 140-2 encryption with integrated TPM, Secure Boot, and signed firmware, ensuring enterprise-level cybersecurity. Compatible with ONVIF profiles S, T, G and M, it easily integrates with Avigilon Unity Video systems and third-party platforms.

Designed and manufactured in North America, the H5A Thermal 36 mm is backed by a 5-year warranty.
