Wi-Fi 6/6E XE5-8 tri-band 8x8/4x4 access point
Description
The Cambium XE5-8 tri-band 8x8/4x4 Wi-Fi 6/6E access point is designed for maximum capacity and density in enterprise, education, and hospitality networks. With five independent radios, it simultaneously supports the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, with aggregate speeds of up to 15.6 Gbps. Using software-defined technology, the radios can be configured for 5 GHz or 6 GHz mode, providing flexibility in adopting Wi-Fi 6E.
The device integrates omnidirectional antennas with gains of up to 5 dBi and supports up to 2,500 clients and 16 SSIDs per AP. With dual multi-Gigabit uplink ports up to 5GbE and 802.3bt PoE++ power, maximum power consumption is 59W. The XE5-8 provides advanced security with WPA3, 802.1X authentication and a built-in captive portal, as well as application visibility tools, EasyPass onboarding and integration with Microsoft Azure and Google G Suite. Centralized management is provided via cnMaestro„¢ or XMS, with Layer 7-based analytics, monitoring, and policy capabilities.
