Unlike traditional repeaters, the SLR 1000 is IP65 dust and water resistant, allowing it to be used on campuses, in parking lots, and between multiple locations within an outdoor complex. Its compact size offers multiple installation options, with wall or pole mounting.

The SLR 1000 integrates with both conventional and trunking systems with voice and data support.
