Description

The RSM ATEX IP67 remote speaker microphone is an audio accessory designed by Motorola Solutions to improve communication clarity in complex operational environments. IMPRES technology helps deliver superior audio by suppressing ambient noise, improving voice intelligibility, and amplifying weaker transmissions, while Windporting technology reduces wind noise and helps prevent microphone obstruction from water.

This RSM is built to withstand harsh environments, with an IP67 rating that ensures complete dust tightness and resistance to immersion for at least 30 minutes. ATEX and IECEx intrinsic safety approvals allow it to be used in hazardous environments. For easy use in the field, it includes on-mic volume control, emergency button, programmable button, and two audio connectors: a 3.5 mm jack for receive-only use and an open-interface Nexus connector compatible with third-party headsets.
