It can operate as an analog repeater (conventional or MPT 1327) or as a mixed-mode analog/digital repeater, to allow the transition from legacy analog systems.

Thanks to its high sensitivity, 50 W output transmission power and digital error correction, the SLR 5500 repeater allows reliable coverage and clear voice quality, even in the most adverse conditions.
