Description

The FLX2 Bluetooth Headband Headset WS ProTac XPI is a hearing protection and communication solution designed for noisy and demanding environments. Part of the 3M Peltor range, this headband model combines Bluetooth 4.2 with MultiPoint, Bluetooth A2DP support for streaming, and a level-dependent function for ambient listening to improve situational awareness during use.

The noise-canceling microphone is waterproof (IP 68 rating) up to 6 m for 30 minutes and supports VOX. The headset also integrates the FLX2 6-pin Mini XLR connector for adding an external wired source, as well as automatic shutdown after 4 hours of non-use and low battery warning.

3M Peltor declares for this FLX2 headband version an SLC80 attenuation of 32 dB in Class 5 according to AS/NZS 1270:2002, with a clamping force of 12 N and a weight of 372 g including batteries. The high-visibility yellow color, compatibility with the 3M E-A-Rfit Validation System and a product life of up to 5 years, excluding batteries, complete a package suitable for professional applications.
