Description
The BPF 4 4 FM from Amphenol Procom is a bandpass filter with 4 helical resonators and aperture coupling, designed for applications in the 88-108 MHz band. It can be used as a preselector to protect a receiver from out-of-band interference or to reduce spurious emissions from a transmitter with power up to 50 W.
The filter is tunable over the entire 88-108 MHz band and offers compact dimensions thanks to the use of helical resonators. The structure is made of extruded aluminum housing and steel chassis, while Teflon insulation is used in the coaxial cables and connectors. The black vinyl coating helps protect against corrosion and ensures reliable operation over a wide temperature range.
