Description
The 6-cavity duplexer for the 160 MHz band is designed for duplex radiotelephones and, in the H-8/10-N(f) version, operates in the range 152 - 175 MHz with duplex spacing of 8 - 10 MHz. It is intended primarily for equipment in which transmission and reception operate on a single frequency, but it can also be used on multiple channels within a given port bandwidth, with slightly reduced data; in this case, factory calibration is recommended.
Amphenol-Procom uses high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators to keep the filter size small. Construction features an extruded aluminum enclosure, passivated steel frame, Teflon insulation in the solid coaxial cables and connectors, and a black vinyl coating to prevent corrosion.
