VHF 118-137 MHz omnidirectional antenna
Description
The CXL 3-1LW is a unity-gain omnidirectional base antenna designed for the 118-137 MHz civil aeronautical band. With vertical polarization and 0 dBd (2.2 dBi) gain, it ensures uniform signal coverage and is ideal for professional installations.
The Amphenol Procom antenna uses a 1/2 wavelength wideband coaxial dipole design, with 50 Ohm impedance, 150 W maximum input power, a VSWR of less than 1.75:1, and a bandwidth of 19 MHz. The E-plane beamwidth at 3 dB is 66°, while the H-plane pattern is omnidirectional. All metal parts are DC grounded to reduce interference from lightning.
The structure is made of a polyurethane-coated fiberglass radome and a seawater-resistant, epoxy-coated aluminum mounting bracket. It can be mounted on a pole with a diameter of 27 - 65 mm. Standing approximately 1500 mm tall and weighing approximately 0.80 kg, it is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, with IP66 protection, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, and wind resistance tested up to 200 km/h.Main Features
