Central folded dipole 145-175 MHz
Description
The 145-175 MHz center folded dipole is a VHF antenna designed by Amphenol-Procom for PMR, trunked radio, broadcast, and VHF aeronautical band applications. Its rugged construction and high-quality manufacturing standards help ensure reliable operation even in harsh environments. Additionally, multiple dipoles can be installed on a tower and connected with a phasing harness to create a high-gain stacked array.
This model operates in the 145-175 MHz band, supports a maximum input power of 150 W, and offers selectable vertical or horizontal linear polarization. It features a female N connection on 3 m RG213/U cable, 50 Ohm impedance, VSWR less than 1.5:1, and anti-static protection with all metal parts DC-grounded. Construction includes an aluminum boom, 32 mm diameter aluminum elements, a 12.7 mm diameter aluminum balun, and a fully molded enclosure. The IP68 protection rating supports use in exposed outdoor environments.
