Omnidirectional antenna 3 dBd 440-470 MHz
Description
The 3 dBd 440-470 MHz omnidirectional antenna is a broadband collinear solution for base stations and marine applications. Amphenol-Procom offers it for the 440-470 MHz frequency segment of the CXL 70-3C/h model, with vertical polarization, omnidirectional pattern and 3 dBd gain equal to 5.2 dBi.
The structure integrates a polyurethane-coated fiberglass radome, a universal seawater-resistant aluminum bracket with epoxy coating and stainless steel terminals. All metal parts are DC-grounded and the connector has a DC-short, a feature recommended for reducing noise caused by atmospheric discharges.
For outdoor installation, Amphenol-Procom declares IP66 protection, operating temperature from -40 °C to +70 °C and resistance to wind speeds of up to 200 km/h. The antenna can be mounted on poles with diameters from 27 to 65 mm and allows the cable to be routed inside or outside the pole.
