Broadband Power 70-175 MHz Combiner Splitter
Description
The Amphenol-Procom 70-175 MHz Broad Band Power Splitter/Combiner is designed for radio applications requiring signal splitting or combining over a wide frequency band. The cascaded Wilkinson-hybrid structure allows you to connect two antennas to the same transmitter or receiver, use the device as a power splitter for radio systems, combine two transmitters on the same antenna, and combine two signal generators.
It operates in the 70 - 175 MHz range with an impedance of 50 Ohm. The maximum input power is 30 W when used as a power splitter and 15 W per channel when used as a hybrid combiner; additional cooling is required in this mode. Insertion loss is less than 3.8 dB, typically less than 3.4 dB, while Tx1 - Tx2 isolation is greater than 16 dB, typically greater than 20.5 dB in the 70 - 175 MHz band.
Amphenol-Procom integrates a 30 W load and has Tx1, Tx2 phase of 0°. VSWR is less than 1.5:1 with all other ports terminated at 50 Ohms, typically less than 1.4. Mechanically, it features N(f) connections, dimensions 126 x 97.5 x 30.3 mm, an approximate weight of 0.4 kg, an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C, and an IP64 degree of protection.
