BPBR 4/4 66-88 MHz 4-cavity filter
Description
The BPBR 4/4 from Amphenol Procom is a 4-cavity band-pass/band-reject filter for the 66-88 MHz band, also available in an 88-108 MHz option. It is designed to pass one frequency or band and reject another in close proximity, making it particularly suitable for protecting receivers from interference from nearby transmitters when the spacing between the useful signal and the interfering signal is very close.
The BPBR model features rejection on the high side of the pass frequency and supports a pass-reject spacing from 2 to 16 MHz. Insertion loss is up to 2.0 dB at 2 MHz spacing and up to 0.6 dB at 16 MHz, while rejection attenuation is greater than or equal to 90 dB. Impedance is 50 Ohms with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1 and a maximum input power of 50 W with a 3 to 16 MHz frequency range.
The compact construction uses high-Q helical resonators with discrete interconnects. The enclosure is extruded aluminum with a passivated steel chassis and Teflon-insulated connectors, coated in black vinyl to prevent corrosion. The filter operates over a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C.Main Features
