160 MHz omnidirectional marine base antenna
Description
The CXL 2-1LW 160 MHz omnidirectional marine base antenna is designed for base station and marine applications in the 146 - 165 MHz band. The specific /l model offers 146 - 165 MHz coverage, slim-line structure with 0 dBi unity gain, vertical polarization and 50 Ohm impedance, with a maximum input power of 150 W.
Amphenol-Procom manufactures this antenna with a 1/2 lambda broad-band coaxial dipole element sealed in a polyurethane-coated fiberglass conical tube, designed to ensure continuous operation even in corrosive environments. The LW mounting bracket is lightweight and multifunctional, made of seawater-resistant aluminum with epoxy coating, while bolts and accessories are made of stainless steel.
The product supports vertical or horizontal pole mounting from 16 to 54 mm in diameter, with external or internal cable routing. Anti-static protection with all metal parts grounded in DC helps reduce noise caused by lightning discharges; the antenna is supplied with a DC connection between the radiating element and the mounting bracket.
