Description

The TAP200 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point designed for medium-density environments requiring high, reliable performance. Thanks to Wave-2 MU-MIMO technology, it supports speeds up to 867 Mbps on both bands simultaneously and allows access to up to 100 simultaneous clients.

It features a Gigabit RJ45 port compatible with PoE-in 802.3af Class 1 (44-57V), allowing for easy installation without external power. The design includes an integrated mounting bracket for ceiling or wall installation and a weather-resistant UV-stabilized plastic enclosure.

It supports advanced wireless features such as 802.11r fast roaming, BSS Transition management (802.11v), radio measurements (802.11k), 802.11s wireless mesh, MAC filtering (whitelist/blacklist), QR code generator for automatic connection, and hidden ESSID mode.

The OpenWrt-based RutOS firmware offers captive portal hotspots with internal/external Radius authentication, SMS, MAC login, and customizable themes. It supports TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6 protocols, SSH, DNS-over-HTTPS, Web API, Data-to-Server via MQTT/Azure MQTT, and Lua scripting.

Security includes WPA2 Enterprise, WPA3, OWE, EAP-TLS with PKCS#12 certificates, PMF protection, tag-based VLAN, login attempt blocking, and a random user password generator. Remote management via WebUI, SSH, FOTA, JSON-RPC, and RMS.

Compact and lightweight, the TAP200 has a diameter of approximately 158mm, a thickness of 30mm, and a weight of 190g. It operates from "40°C to +75°C with humidity up to 90% non-condensing. Low power (<4W idle, <5.5W max).Key Features
