Description

The RUTX12 is a dual-LTE Cat6 industrial router designed for mission-critical applications. It features two simultaneous Cat6 LTE modems (up to 300 Mbps each) with load balancing and automatic failover between SIMs or eSIMs (up to 7 profiles), with switching based on signal, data, roaming, or inactivity.

It also includes dual-band Wave-2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 5 (up to 867 Mbps), mesh support, 802.11r roaming, and Bluetooth LE. It features 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (1 WAN configurable as LAN + 4 LAN) with Auto MDI/MDIX support and advanced VLANs for up to 128 networks per port or tag.

It supports GNSS for geolocation and synchronization, a USB-A port for external storage or modems, configurable digital inputs/outputs on the power connector, and hotspot control via captive portal with internal or external Radius.

The RutOS operating system (based on OpenWrt) offers static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPFv2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, NHRP), QoS/SQM, DNSoverHTTPS, a configurable firewall, WAN failover, load balancing, VoIP passthrough, and connection and signal monitoring.

Security includes multi-protocol VPN (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, WireGuard, ZeroTier, DMVPN, etc.), anti-DDoS protection, and quota control. Data, web filtering, operator lists, and RADIUS/TACACS+ authentication. Remote management via WebUI, SSH, CLI, SNMP, MQTT, JSON-RPC, Modbus TCP, FOTA, TR-069, and RMS.

Powered by 9 to 50 VDC with reverse polarity and transient protection, it supports passive PoE on LAN1 (not compliant with the standard). The device consumes less than 4W at idle and up to 22W under load. IP30 aluminum enclosure, dimensions 132 x 44.2 x 95.1 mm, weight approximately 540 g. Suitable for temperatures from "40°C to +75°C with humidity up to 90% non-condensing.Main Features
