Description

The RUTX09 is an industrial LTE-A Cat6 router with up to 300Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speeds, backwards compatible with 3G networks up to 42Mbps. It supports dual-SIM with auto-switching in case of weak signal, data cap, roaming, or SIM idle protection; also available in a version with a consumer-type eSIM with up to 7 profiles.

It includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 WAN configurable as LAN + 3 LAN), with tag/port-based VLAN support, bridging, passthrough, and automatic failover between Ethernet, mobile, and VRRP. It integrates GNSS and a USB-A port for external peripherals or storage.

The RutOS (OpenWrt-based) operating system supports static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPFv2, RIP, EIGRP, NHRP), policy routing, QoS/SQM, configurable firewall, hotspot, and advanced captive portal. VPN features include OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, WireGuard, ZeroTier, DMVPN, Tinc, Tailscale, and more.

It supports IoT and industrial protocols such as MQTT, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, DNP3, and DLMS, with an integrated MQTT gateway. It allows connection monitoring via ping reboot, wget reboot, LCP, ICMP, and advanced anti-DDoS security features and port scan protection.

Remote management via WebUI, CLI, SSH, RMS, SNMP, MQTT, JSON-RPC, Modbus TCP, FOTA, and TR-069. Compatible with IoT platforms such as Azure IoT Hub, Cumulocity, and ThingWorx. 9"50V DC power supply with reverse polarity and transient protection, supports passive PoE on LAN1.
