Description

The Teltonika Networks RUTM56 dual-modem router is designed for applications requiring advanced mobile connectivity, redundancy, and wireless network integration. The source confirms the presence of a Sub-6 GHz SA/NSA 5G modem as the main module and a second 4G LTE Cat 4 modem, as well as two physical SIM slots and a consumer eSIM with up to seven profiles.

SIM management enables dual-modem functionality with independent switching for each modem. The datasheet specifies that switching between physical SIM and eSIM can occur automatically in the event of a weak signal, data caps, roaming, or network issues, and that both physical SIMs can operate simultaneously, with switching limited to the SIM and eSIM of the corresponding modem.

For wireless connectivity, Teltonika Networks includes two dual-band SMA magnetic Wi-Fi antennas in the package. There are also 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi status indicators and Wi-Fi WAN support as a network backup option, which confirms the presence of Wi-Fi mode integrated into the device. On the wired side, the router has 5 RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports features such as load balancing, automatic failover, firewall, hotspot and numerous network protocols.
