Description
The Teltonika Networks TAP100 Wi-Fi access point is a solution designed to offer wireless connectivity in enterprise, retail, and smart city settings. It supports the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi 4 standard and allows up to 100 simultaneous connections, integrating useful features for efficient wireless network management.
The device offers advanced features such as 802.11s wireless mesh, 802.11r fast roaming, 802.11v BSS transition management, and 802.11k radio resource measurement, as well as SSID stealth mode, MAC filter allowlist and blocklist, and QR code generator for automatic network access. The version with code TAP100000000 is supplied in a standard package with an EU PoE injector.
From a hardware point of view, TAP100 integrates 1 10/100 Mbps RJ45 port with support for IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and 802.3az standards, auto MDI/MDIX crossover and power supply via PoE-in on the RJ45 port. The power supply supports an input range of 44.0 to 57.0 V, 802.3af PoE Class 1 standard and a maximum consumption of less than 2 W. The device body measures 158 mm x 30 mm in diameter.
