It can be powered from 9 to 30V DC (optional passive PoE on LAN1), with consumption less than 3.8W. Based on RutOS (OpenWrt), it supports advanced routing, multiple VPNs, and remote management via RMS. Suitable for harsh environments thanks to its IP30 aluminum housing and operation from "40°C to +75°C.

Description

The RUT301 is an Ethernet router designed for industrial and IoT applications that do not require cellular connectivity. It features five 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports (1 WAN port and 4 LAN ports), all with Auto MDI/MDIX support, and includes a USB 2.0 port for connecting external devices such as modems or storage devices.

The device features two configurable digital inputs/outputs via DC connector (0-6V or 8-30V input, open collector output up to 40V/400mA). It can be powered via a 4-pin 9-30V DC connector with reverse polarity and transient protection. It can also be powered via passive PoE on LAN1 (optional module). Power consumption is approximately 0.8W at idle and 3.8W at maximum.

This solution runs RutOS, an OpenWrt-based operating system, which offers static and dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, NHRP), policy-based routing, VLAN, QoS/SQM, NAT, advanced firewall, and WAN failover. It supports common protocols (TCP/UDP/IPv4/IPv6, ICMP, MQTT, SNMP, etc.), VoIP passthrough, and hotspot/captive portal functions.

Built-in security with multi-protocol VPN support (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, L2TP, PPTP, SSTP, WireGuard, ZeroTier, Stunnel, DMVPN), anti-DDoS protection, and port scanning. Remote management is guaranteed via WebUI, CLI, SSH, TR-069, MQTT, SNMP, JSON-RPC, Modbus TCP, FOTA, and RMS, with compatibility with cloud platforms such as Azure IoT Hub, Cumulocity, or ThingWorx.

Constructed of IP30 aluminum, with compact dimensions (100x30x85mm) and a weight of approximately 233g. Operation is guaranteed from -40°C to +75°C and humidity from 10% to 90% non-condensing. It can be installed on a DIN rail, wall, or flat surface. It is CE, UKCA, FCC, IC, RCM, and CB certified, and complies with RoHS, REACH, and WEEE regulations.Main Features
