Raspberry Pi HAT+ 5G Calyx module
Description
The Teltonika Raspberry Pi HAT+ 5G Calyx module is an embedded cellular connectivity solution designed to ensure reliable mobile internet access on Raspberry Pi 4 and 5, especially in environments where Wi-Fi or Ethernet are unavailable or unstable. It mounts directly onto the SBC via a 40-pin header, ensuring compact and tidy integration.
It supports Sub-6GHz 5G networks in SA and NSA modes with speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps download and 900 Mbps upload thanks to 4x4 MIMO technology in the downlink. It is backward compatible with 4G LTE Cat 19 up to 1.6 Gbps download and 200 Mbps upload, and with 3G up to 42 Mbps download and 5.76 Mbps upload. It features four SMA connectors for mobile antennas, one 4FF push-pull Nano SIM slot, Power, NET IND, and NET STAT status LEDs, PCM support for low-latency audio, and modem control via GPIO.
Power can be supplied via the Raspberry Pi header at 5 VDC and 3.3 VDC or via the 5 VDC USB Type-C port. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 75°C. The dimensions are 56 x 23.11 x 100.8 mm and the weight is 57 g.
