Description

The TRB143 is an extremely compact industrial IoT gateway (‰ˆ74.5-25-64.4mm, ~145g), featuring LTE Cat4 mobile connectivity up to 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload, with fallback to 3G and 2G networks. It also offers an integrated M-Bus interface for connecting up to 250 measurement devices, one of the few models in its segment to support it.

It features a Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000Mbps with Auto MDI/MDIX), micro-USB, a Mini SIM slot, and two configurable digital I/Os on the power connector for monitoring or remote control. Powered by 12 to 30V DC, it supports passive PoE on LAN1 (non-standard).

It runs RutOS (OpenWrt-based), which provides static routing functionality, an advanced NAT firewall, captive portal hotspot support, link monitoring via ping/wget reboot, QoS/SQM, DNS-over-HTTPS, DDNS, SSHFS, and bridge/passthrough.

It supports industrial and IoT protocols such as MQTT, Modbus TCP, DNP3, MBUS over IP, and two-way SMS (automatic reply, SMS†’HTTP/EMAIL). The gateway can be remotely managed via RMS, WebUI, SSH, TR-069, MQTT, SNMP, JSON-RPC, and FOTA.
