IP68 Gigabit PoE++ Protection
Description
The Townet TW-SPPOE-TS model is an Ethernet/PoE++ protection designed for outdoor equipment such as access points, IP cameras, VoIP cameras, or PCs connected to long cable runs or isolated towers. It supports PoE, PoE+, HiPoE/PoE++ up to 90 W and reverse polarity, ensuring protection of all 8 data lines.
Thanks to the three-stage fail-safe architecture, it effectively protects against electrostatic discharges, surges, and electrical disturbances without compromising performance up to Gigabit Ethernet (Cat 5E). It is IMQ certified according to IEC 61000-4-5 up to 6000 V and maintains transmission integrity even with packets up to 64,000 bytes.
The anticorodal aluminum enclosure with nickel-brass locking and IP68 protection rating ensures resistance to extreme environmental conditions, with operation between -40 °C and +90 °C. It can withstand up to 300 events of 200 A and 10 events of 20 kA, making it ideal for installations on a pole or tower with adequate grounding.
