Description
The Townet TW SB5 POE managed PoE switch is designed for reliable, high-performance industrial applications. It features 5 RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 1 SFP slot for fiber connection, with buffering up to 4Mbit. It supports video transmission up to 4K and provides PoE power on the first four ports: the first two handle passive 24V or active 48V PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at) up to 30W, while ports 3 and 4 reach up to 60W with IEEE 802.3bt standard.
The total PoE budget is 225W. Redundant power supply (37 57VDC) ensures operational continuity even in the event of a failure. The switch is surge protected up to 8kV, compliant with Level 4 industry standards. It includes alarm ports, a temperature sensor, and a fanless design for increased durability in harsh environments.
It offers advanced Layer 2 features: VLAN up to 4K, QoS, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ACL, firewall, 802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP snooping, and port mirroring. Manageable via web interface, CLI, and SNMP v1/2c/3. It supports cascading topologies with Fast Ring of up to 30 switches and auto-recovery in less than 20ms. DIN-rail mount.
