The Sidekick 2 tri-band Wi-Fi analysis device is an Ekahau solution for professional site surveys, spectrum analysis, and performance testing on 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz wireless networks. With 4 enterprise-grade tri-band Wi-Fi radios, it allows you to collect more data in less time and obtain reliable, repeatable measurements for network validation.
Ekahau designed the Sidekick 2 to deliver high speed and accuracy for signal and spectrum analysis tasks, supporting Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, and legacy 802.11a/b/g networks. The device integrates 9 3D wideband antennas, a spectrum analyzer with up to 50 sweeps per second, USB-C connectivity, silent active cooling and a battery that lasts all workday.
Compatible with Android, Windows, iOS and macOS, the device helps you check the quality of wireless coverage, identify environmental changes that can affect performance and correct the positioning of access points right from the first installation, with advantages in terms of time, reliability and operational continuity.
