FreeMile 60 60 GHz outdoor radio
Description
FreeMile 60 is an outdoor radio solution designed to efficiently utilize the 60 GHz spectrum, reducing interference and maximizing coverage. According to the datasheet, the product offers multi-Gigabit speeds, aggregate Ethernet throughput of up to 2.3 Gbps, and a modular structure consisting of outdoor units with optional antenna kits, making it suitable for both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections.
In the SAF Tehnika portfolio, FreeMile 60 stands out for its support for Access Point and Station modes, the management of up to 32 stations per AP, and its proprietary TDMA protocol with dynamic scheduling, suitable for networks requiring high upload capacity. The platform also integrates management functions via HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, SNMP and RESTful API, with a web-based interface and in-band management via LAN.
