The Sarix Enhanced 4 2MP box camera is designed for video surveillance applications that require advanced analytics, business continuity, and data protection. With Pelco, this Sarix Enhanced 4P series model supports running multiple analytics simultaneously to extract more information and improve threat detection and response efficiency.
The 2MP version features a 1/2.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor, up to 1920 x 1080 main resolution and up to 50 fps or 60 fps in High Frame Rate mode. It includes WDR up to 150 dB with triple exposure at 20 fps or less, SureVision technology, Pelco Smart Compression, 3D noise removal filter and iCS/CS thread support.
The camera is intentionally designed without a microphone, eliminating audio recording and analytics for privacy and compliance. Additionally, it can automatically switch power sources with seamless failover between PoE and auxiliary power without interrupting operation. On the security front, Pelco claims integrated TPM, Secure Boot and FIPs-140-3 level compliant 3.

This Pelco camera includes IR illumination with a maximum distance of up to 70m at full telephoto and 40m at full wide. For the 4MP sensor, the minimum illumination is 0 lux with IR in monochrome mode, while without IR it reaches 0.003 lux in monochrome mode and 0.008 lux in color mode.
Operationally, the model supports seamless failover between PoE and auxiliary power and vice versa, without interrupting camera operation. It also includes 4 GB of RAM and 4 GB of Flash memory.
